THANK YOU GRANTORS
We are extremely grateful to the newly organized North Tahoe Chamber (TBID Dollars at Work) and to the Tahoe Truckee Airport Foundation for grants that allow Tahoe Music Alive to expand its presence and service.
Through its TBID Dollars at Work Program, the North Tahoe Chamber has provided grants to Tahoe Music Alive for two concerts. The May 4th concert by Duo Violão Plus One, held in conjunction with Sierra Musica and at the Fox Cultural Hall (aka Arts for the Schools] featured Brazilian choro music and afforded students from Jesse Steele’s band program to hear and play with the guitar and percussion combo.
The grant from Tahoe Truckee Airport Foundation ignites TMA’s outreach program, providing musical education to youth. Resources from this grant will solidify our nascent collaboration with Natalia Tomaselo’s music program at Alder Creek Middle School, a successful program with a shared vision for the importance of arts in the lives of students and its contribution to STEAM education.
The grant from the Banzett Fund for Musical Arts has sponsored the Insight Chamber Players concert.
A grant from Truckee Rotary has provided essential equipment for guest musicians.
Cornerstone Bakery and Café makes the intermissions special with their bites, and we appreciate this in-kind contribution.
Pacific Crest Coffee generously supplies their fine coffee for intermission.
THANK YOU 2023 DONORS.
